In a letter to all the large taxpayer units, regional tax offices FBR has said it has given deadline of December 31, 2009 to all non-filers short filers for filing of returns and payment of due taxes. After expiry of deadline of December 31, the FBR intends to start action against the non-filers based on its own database including third party information from external sources including National and Database Registration Authority (NADRA) from January 2010.

FBR warns action against non-filers after due date
